Nick Elswick runs 15:08, more than 22 seconds than anyone had ever run on Boardman's course, and gets nipped at the line by Boardman's own Mark Hadley after an epic battle that rarely had them more than a step apart over the 5000 meter run. Josh Sopchak (16:33), Adam Sopchak (16:47), Steven Zombory (17:00), and Jacob Krebs (17:21) rounded out the top 5 scorers for the Hilltoppers.
As a team, the Hilltoppers were 5th out of 38 teams. They beat many great other teams, including Mentor for the first time this season.
