Lady Toppers' XC Finishes 3rd at Brecksville Bruce Lerch Inv.

The Hilltopper ladies brought home their 3rd trophy in as many meets on Saturday, finishing 3rd in the Bruce Lerch Invitational held on the hilly Breckville-Broadview Heights schools' campus. The young team continued to make strides as they fell to state-ranked Brunswick and Twinsburg, but defeated strong squads from Westlake, Woodridge, and Amherst Steele in the 21-team race. Junior Denali Selent once again led the squad with a runner-up finish. Freshman Andi Mann, sophomore Mila Stropkay, first-year junior Maria Peters, and freshman Lilli Livengood provided the scoring punch giving Chardon a top 5 among the top 35 in the 166-runner race.
