Every year the competition at the Achilles Hilltopper Invitational gets tougher.  In the largest and bests fields we've ever assembled for the Hilltopper, the Girls team finished 5th of 12 teams and the Boys team finished 6th of 13 teams.  The Walsh Jesuit Girls and the Lake Catholic Boys teams took home the team trophies.

Hilltopper efforts were highlighted by Rachel Banks' meet record in the 800 (2:17.15) and Josh Sopchak's meet record in the 800 (1:58.80).

Runner-up finishes were obtained by:

• Sam Stansbury - Girls 1600m
• Jessica Krebs - Girls 3200m
• Jessica Krebs, Sam Stansbury, Mikaylie Park, and Rachel Banks - Girls 4x800m
• Patrick Sullivan, Kyle Zhanai, Matt Morris, and Josh Sopchak - Boys 4x400m
