The girls' XC team had a successful 2017 season opener with a runner-up finish at the Salem Early Bird Invitational behind D-II power Poland Seminary. Denali Selent, a junior, led the way as she captured the individual title. Freshman Andi Mann, junior Molly Greene, sophomore Mila Stropkay, and junior Maria Peters all finished in the top 20 of the 206-runner race and provided the scoring punch while senior Natalie Washington and sophomore Cassidy Robinson rounded out the varsity top 7.
